How to Identify and Export Missing Timesheets

Accurate timesheet submission is crucial for effective resource management, project tracking, and financial reporting within an organisation. As a timesheet administrator, it's essential to monitor and address any missing timesheets promptly. Fluid offers tools to identify and export data on unsubmitted timesheets, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining organisational efficiency.



Exporting Weekly Missing Timesheets

To identify which team members have not submitted their timesheets for a specific week, use the Timesheet Compliance component:

  1. Navigate to the Timesheet Administration page.
  2. Locate the Timesheet Compliance section.
  3. Find the desired week and click on the red Excel export icon associated with that week to download the report.



 


Exporting Missing Timesheets for a Custom Date Range

If you need to review missing timesheets over a specific period:

  1. Go to the Timesheet Administration page.
  2. Click on Tools in the left-hand navigation menu.



  1. Select Export to Excel and then choose Missing Timesheets.



  1. In the dialog box, specify the desired date range.



  1. Choose to either Download the report immediately or have it Emailed to you.




Understanding the Missing Timesheet Report

The exported report provides detailed information to help identify and address missing timesheets. Key columns include:

  • Missing Week: The specific week for which the timesheet is missing.
  • Resource: Name of the individual with the missing timesheet.
  • Manager: The resource's direct manager.
  • Accountable Executive: The senior executive overseeing the resource's department.
  • Profile Role: The role assigned to the resource within the organisation.
  • Engagement Type: The nature of the resource's engagement (e.g., full-time, part-time).
  • Cost Centre: The financial division associated with the resource.
  • Timesheet Status: Current status of the timesheet (e.g., Not Started, Open, Amend).
