If your timesheet is sent back for amendments, you must review the requested changes, make the necessary updates, and resubmit it for approval.
This article explains how resources are notified when their timesheet has been returned for amendments and how to resubmit it.
How to Know If Your Timesheet Has Been Sent Back for Amendments
If your timesheet requires changes, it will be returned with a request for amendments. You will be notified in the following ways:
- My Items dashboard: You will receive a new action request to amend the timesheet. This action request is accessible from My Items dashboard. Use the Open Timesheet button to open the timesheet and amend it.
- Email Notification: A system-generated email will inform the resource that their timesheet has been returned.
When a timesheet is returned for amendments, the timesheet status is changed to Amend.
How to Resubmit a Timesheet
To review and correct a timesheet that has been sent back for amendment:
- Access the returned timesheet:
Navigate to My Items and locate the timesheet to be amended.
- Or, click on the link in the email notification.
- Review the approver’s comments:
- Open the timesheet and click on chat icon to see if any comments have been added.
- Open the timesheet and click on chat icon to see if any comments have been added.
- Make the necessary changes:
Edit the time entries as required.
- Resubmit the timesheet:
- Once all corrections are made, click Submit to send the timesheet back for approval.
- The timesheet will be changed to Amended.
