Project Benefits: Bulk Edit

Benefits are the return from an investment. Benefits can be qualitative or quantitative. Qualitative benefits are generally not measurable in monetary units or in some other objective way. On the other hand, quantitative benefits are measured in monetary units or rates of change.

You need to have Benefit Access role on your user record in order to be able to update benefits.




How to access the Project Benefits Bulk Edit Functionality? 


You can use the bulk edit functionality to update benefits from a project dashboard or a project workspace.


If on a project dashboard, select Tools (top right of the page) and select Bulk Edit.



If on a project workspace, you can find the Bulk Edit link under the Tools menu on the left hand side navigation bar.






Steps to update project benefits


Project benefits bulk edit files vary depending on the type of benefits you want to update. Use the following links to learn more about the bulk edit file data:



Step 1: Download the data file

  • Select Project Benefits on the left of the Bulk Edit dialog 
  • Select which benefit file you want to download and click on Download.



Step 2: Edit the data file


Make your required changes to the file that you downloaded.



Step 3: Upload the data file

When you are happy with your changes, select UPLOAD in the Bulk Edit dialog and select the file you want to upload.



The progress bar will indicate when the upload process is completed and if any errors occurred during the upload process, they will be listed below the progress bar.
