Updating Resource Forecasts for Multiple Projects with Bulk Edit

The progress of any project is reliant on its resources that play an intricate role in the completion of work/tasks on the projects. The ability to assign/forecast resources to multiple projects at a time is a crucial part for project managers which is simplified by using bulk edit. 

This article will explain how to add resource forecast to multiple projects via bulk edit. 

Steps to add resource forecast to multiple projects via bulk edit

Step 1. Navigate to the project dashboard & access bulk edit

Navigate to the project dashboard then click on Tools and select the Bulk Edit option.

Once the dialog opens, navigate to the Resource Forecast section and select which date range the template should include then download. 

Step 2. Forecast the resource to multiple projects

In the extract file, fill in the projects and resources that need to be forecasted. 

Once the allocation has been made, save the file and upload it.
