Modified on Fri, 26 Apr at 1:34 PM

Actions form part of the daily tasks that need to be executed in order to meet an organization's objectives. Assigning actions in Fluid is simple!

In this article we will show you how to create an action.

Creating an action

  • An action can be created by simply using the global Create button from the navigation panel.

  • The drop-down menu provides you with the option for creating a Action Request as the first option.

NOTE: This option of creating an action can be executed from any page/module in Fluid, and depending on which page you're creating the action from, the "Assigned from" field will be defined by default with the name of the module that you're currently in.

For example: If you're on a project and create an action then the action will automatically be assigned from that project's name.

NOTE: You are able to remove the default and enter the correct entity it needs to come from if required.

  • The action dialog presented when the Action Request option is selected, will have the following fields:

  • Once the relevant fields have be completed/filled in, click on Create to send/assign the action to the individual/s required to execute the action.

  • Each assigned action will be accessible to the assignees via the My Items page.
