Linking Boards to Projects and WorkHubs

Modified on Wed, 16 Nov 2022 at 07:42 AM

Having a consolidated view of all deliverables and tasks makes managing projects and workflows that much easier. Boards can easily be linked to Projects and WorkHubs. This provides a superior way to gather all your tasks, planning and updates together for the team to have a single view of all execution.

In this article, we will show you the steps to link your Fluid boards to a Project or WorkHub.

Step 1. Link an existing Board to a WorkHub or Project

NOTE: Only boards that you own will be found in the search for the board and be available for you to link. If the board you wish to link cannot be found, it is because you are not the Board Owner of that Board.

  • Start by opening the WorkHub/Project you want to link a board to
  • Navigate to Boards in the left-hand navigation panel
  • Click on the Link a Board button
  • When linking existing Boards, start by typing at least two characters of the name of the board into the dialog, and select it from the list of available boards. Click on OK.

Step 2. Link a new Board to a WorkHub or Project

  • Start by opening the WorkHub/Project you want to link a board to
  • Navigate to Boards in the left-hand navigation panel
  • Click on the + Create New Board button to create a new Sprint or Kanban Board from here, and it will automatically be linked to the WorkHub or Project.

You can view your linked boards from the Boards section of the Project or WorkHub workspace. This will give you a quick overview of their membership and progress, along with quick links to navigate directly to them.
